Everything is built from source on a Gentoo box. In this case, the final step
in compilation is this:
strip: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-strip --strip-unneeded -R .comment -R
.GCC.command.line -R .note.gnu.gold-version
usr/lib64/gkrellm2/plugins/gkrellfire.so
>>> Done.
For comparison, the same stage in compiling gkrellsun is:
strip: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-strip --strip-unneeded -R .comment -R
.GCC.command.line -R .note.gnu.gold-version
usr/lib64/gkrellm2/plugins/gkrellsun.so
>>> Done.
I can't see any difference.

/usr/lib64/gkrellm2/plugins/gkrellfire.so: file format elf64-x86-64
SYMBOL TABLE:
no symbols
I see the same with gkrellsun.

Gkrellsun and my other three plugins work just fine.

OK, thanks.
Does anyone else have gkrellfire running properly?
